My bookkeeping career began at a used car dealership, where for more than five years I managed the financial process and saw firsthand how important accurate books are to running a business.
I also saw opportunities to make the work more efficient. Drawing on my technology background, I built a custom Microsoft Access database with forms and reports to streamline the dealership's bookkeeping process.
That experience reinforced something I've believed throughout my career: good decisions depend on good information.

Before focusing on Autumn Endeavors, I spent more than 30 years in Information Technology, specializing in database administration, software development, and support.
Throughout those roles, financial responsibilities were never far away. My experience has included accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, cleanup, and organizing financial data.
Technology and bookkeeping may seem like two different careers, but to me they have always had something important in common: the information is only as useful as the data behind it.
Incomplete or inaccurate data can blur the picture. Clean, organized information helps reveal what's really happening.

I started Autumn Endeavors because I genuinely enjoy the work that many small business owners would rather not do.
I love taking financial information that may feel scattered or overwhelming and bringing it together into organized books and reports that tell the story of what's happening in a business.
I also love solving problems—finding discrepancies, determining why something doesn't balance, and getting the information back in order.
